Help beat cyberbullying – one rhyme at a time!

Anti-bullying Song CompetitionAnti-Bullying Week (17-21 November) highlights the impact of bullying on children and young people in schools, communities and in cyberspace.

The Internet Matters competition asks schools to come up with creative ways to address the issue through song, rap or verse. There are categories for Primary and Secondary schools, and both have exceptional prizes including a school visit from Olympic medallist Christine Ohuruogu (MBE) and a class visit to Sky’s TV studios. Songs will be judged by an expert panel, including singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

You’ll also find a downloadable lesson plan and poster on the Internet Matters website to help create your entry and raise awareness in your school.

More details about the competition are available on the Internet Matters website: http://www.internetmatters.org/educate/schools/antibullying-song-competition.html
