HwbMeets are informal gatherings for those curious about innovative ideas for teaching and learning. Anyone can quickly share great ideas they’ve used in their classrooms, ask questions or simply sign up to see what other people are doing. Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part.
The events run after school, usually from 4.30-6.00pm, and focus on listening to real learning stories from teachers. HwbMeets aren’t designed as opportunities to present a product or try to sell something, but are a chance for teachers from all types of establishments to hear ideas, share good practice, and make useful contacts.
Each HwbMeet aims to give educators examples of useful tools, resources, and ideas. Teachers can then take this information away and consider how they could use or implement this information in their own schools.
