The Minister for Education and Skills delivered his key note speech on education in Wales at Coleg y Cymoedd’s Nantgarw campus on 5 February 2015.
Teaching profession invited to work with Minister in developing new Curriculum for Wales.
In his speech, presented to an audience of 150 at the venue, and another 140 watching live via webinar, the Minister reflected on the improvements made in Welsh education over the past few years. He also discussed Professor Graham Donaldson’s review of the curriculum and assessment; and plans to improve Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for teachers in Wales through the New Deal.The Minister also took this opportunity to invite the audience to begin the debate and to have the conversation in light of the fundamental changes ahead.
