South West Grid for Learning25th Feb and 26th Feb – Don’t miss this opportunity!

Over the past year or so, South West Grid for Learning (part of the UK Safer Internet Centre) has been working in close partnership with Welsh Government to look at where schools need support in terms of e-Safety. As a result of our findings we have developed two new e-Safety resources for Welsh schools, launched on 22 October by Minister of Education and Skills Huw Lewis.

The first of these resources is 360 safe Cymru – a Welsh version of our award-winning original resource, which enables schools to self-review their e-Safety provision and guides them through the improvement process.

DIGITAL LITERACY AND CITIZENSHIPThe second is the Digital Literacy Resource – a programme of lesson plans and information to teach digital literacy skills, which are vital life skills for young people today, across all key stages.
