The National Digital Learning Event is an annual conference and awards ceremony, aimed at teachers and those working in education in Wales, with a view to sharing good practice and expertise in digital learning.
This year’s National Digital Learning Event takes the theme Digital Competence – Sharing Good Practice.

Who should attend? The National Digital Learning Event is aimed at all teachers, head teachers, local authority and consortia representatives interested in digital learning in Wales.
Speakers: This year’s activities will be hosted by Siân Lloyd (BBC News) and will include contributions from Minister for Education and Skills Huw Lewis AM, Rhodri Talfan Davies (Director, BBC Wales) and Jessica Cecil (Head of Business Management, BBC), Prof. Stephen Heppell, and Janet Hayward OBE (Chair of Wales’ National Digital Learning Council).
Workshops: Delegates will be invited to choose two from five workshops as part of the booking process. This year’s workshops will be delivered by Technocamps, Allen Heard (2014 Pearson Award Winner), South West Grid for Learning/Estyn. Two of the Hwb+ Centres of Excellence (Cadoxton and Ysgol Bro Morgannwg) will also be sharing their expertise.
More: The National Digital Learning Awards ceremony 2015 will form part of the day’s activities, giving delegates an opportunity to see the very best examples of digital learning currently taking place across Wales. Digital learning experts and organisations will be present at the conference exhibitor hall to share information and give demonstrations during the day.
