Learn ICT launches its new E-Safety Site!

esafety_siteThe newly updated Learn ICT E-Safety Mini Site has information and resources enabling school teachers, pupils, students and parents/carers to become more aware of the issues regarding keeping safe online.

The site has been completely overhauled and as well as pointing to the more common e-safety resources found on Hwb, ThinkUKnow and KidSMART, we have created primary and secondary E-Safety Signposts which directly link to specific topics such as Online Privacy, Grooming and Social Networking.

New to the secondary E-Safety Signposts area is a collection of links to information about radicalisation and extremism including the Prevent Duty, a new counter terrorism and security act.

If you have created links on your school websites which point to the previous Internet Safety Zone, please update them to point to the new mini site as we will no longer be maintaining or updating the previous one.

If you have any comments to make about our new e-safety mini site, please contact John Mills or Stephen Jones of the ICT Curriculum Team.
