School Projects using the BBC micro:bit

make_the_futureThe website Technology Will Save Us has created a set of projects which will provide schools with ideas about using the BBC micro:bit. Graded from easy to difficult, they range from making a Pocket Pet to using fruit to make a music arpeggiator. Coding instructions are provided via links to the BBC micro:bit website:

With regard to code editors, there are a few available, ranging from block editors (similar to Scratch) to JavaScript and Python code. Microsoft has also developed an editor for mobile devices called Touch Develop. You can choose the editor that’s right for you here:

Don’t forget that there is a micro:bit code editor built into J2Code available through Hwb and J2E. Happy coding!
